Councilwoman, Ward 3

Appointed in April 2022 by Council to fill a seat left vacant when Helen Hatala passed away in March 2022, elected on November 2022 by the citizens of Ward 3 [See Voting Wards] of the City of Burlington to serve as their Councilperson, and sworn in on January 3, 2023, for a term that expires on December 31, 2025. As Councilperson of Ward 3, I represent the interests of City residents of Voting Ward 3, the areas commonly referred to as Laurel, Fawn Hollow, Columbus Park and much of East Burlington.

I will be serving Burlington for 4 years, January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2025 (elected in 11/2022 to complete expired term of Helen Hatala)

Duties

Council members perform all appropriate functions with respect to City legislation, including:
  • Preparation of Municipal Budget
  • Writing and Passage of Ordinances to govern the City
  • Voicing concerns and complaints of constituents (City Ward 3 residents)
  • Represent Ward 3 citizens while solving problems and planning for the future
