Councilperson, At-Large A

On November 5, 2019, I was elected by the citizens of the City of Burlington to serve as Councilwoman At-Large. Sworn in on January 1, 2020, my four-year term expires on December 31, 2023 (after serving three terms in this position from 2008 to 2019). As Councilwoman At-Large, I represent the interests of all City residents.

I will be serving Burlington for 4 years, January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2027.

Duties

Council members perform all appropriate functions with respect to City legislation, including:
  • Preparation of Municipal Budget
  • Writing and Passage of Ordinances to govern the City
  • Voicing concerns and complaints of constituents (City residents)
  • Represent citizens while solving problems and planning for the future

Community

Ward 1 and City of Burlington activist, working on housing, redevelopment, recreation, and government relations issues.

Education

Master of Public Administration degree.
BA degree in Political Science.

Employment

Retired NJ Transit Superintendent.
