State of Emergency Declared by Governor; Organizations Should Track Costs and Submit Data Within 24 Hours for Possible Recoup

The Governor has declared a State of Emergency for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.

Burlington County OEM is in the process of collecting rough estimates of costs that incurred during the storms that occurred both on 6/19/19 and 6/20/2019 for possible recouping if approved by the Federal government.   This includes local nonprofits, businesses, schools etc.  that may have had damages.  If organizations have suffered a loss, it should be tendered as a claim to respective insurance company immediately to determine whether it’s a covered loss.

We have attached the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) form that you can use as a guide or you can send us an e-mail with the cost information.   PDAs must be submitted within 24 hours of loss to be eligible for damage coverage.
