Recycling
Every other Friday, city-wide, our curbside recyclables are collected by Burlington County. As of September 2014, Single-stream recycling began for those neighborhoods that could accomodate larger, blue carts. Recyclables need to be at the curb by 6 am. Recycling – Brush
When you schedule in advance, brush is picked up for free at curbside during the first full week of the month (M–F). Call Johanne to schedule pick-up at: TEL: 609-386-0754 option 1

Recycling – Metal & Appliances
APPLIANCES: The City no longer makes curbside pick-ups of metal and white goods, such as TVs, computer monitors, washers, dryers, and refrigerators.
You may take your metals and white goods to the Burlington County Landfill & Recycling Depot located on Columbus Road. There is no charge for City residents to drop-off their white goods or metal, bring proof of residence. Drop-off hours are M–F 7am–4pm and Sat 7 am–Noon. No appointment is necessary, but you must stop at the scalehouse upon your arrival to be weighed in. Call the Burlington County Landfill & Recycling Depot at 609-499-5300.
SCRAP METAL AND APPLIANCES:
Residents may dispose of scrap metal and appliances at: Burlington County Landfill & Recycling Depot Columbus Rd. (Rte. 543E) Florence NJ. Call 609-499-5300
HOURS: M–F 7am–5pm Sat 7am–2pm COST: Freon Appliance (i.e. air conditioners, refrigerators) $8 ea. Non-Freon Appliance (i.e. washers, stoves, etc.) Free

Recycling – City Drop-Off Center
City Recycling Drop-off Center, 850 Jacksonville Rd., accepts recyclables (see: Recycling: What Gets Collected above). They also accept paint, brush, and scrap metal, but not appliances.
The City Recycling depot no longer accepts:
- building materials
- concrete
- demolition materials
- lumber
- furniture
- asbestos
Take these rejected materials to the Burlington County landfill, or rent a dumpster at your own expense.

DIRECTIONS: From Rte. 130 turn East on Columbus Road (Rte. 543) continue past Fountain of Life church, see light blue water tower continue over I-295 overpass, turn next right into facility
SCALEHOUSE All residents follow signs to scalehouse, to be directed to:
CONVENIENCE CENTER Small car & truck loads, manually off-load into containers
BULKY WASTE AREA Segregated loads of: Scrap Metal (white goods) Wood waste Tires (car & truck up to 100 lbs)
HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY Household hazardous wastes accepted by appointment only TEL: 609-499-5200

Contact Public Works M-F 7 am - 3 pm at 609-386-0754, Option 1, if you are in need of a recycling bucket. They will be delivered the next Monday.
